My name is Liz and I write about all things secondary education, with a focus on best practices to develop fundamental academic skills such as critical reading, writing, and problem solving. I’m a former classroom teacher and a former attorney. My degrees are in Psychology (B.A.), Secondary Education (M.S.), and Law (JD).

I now dedicate my time to working with students one-on-one and in small groups, researching and writing about topics in education, and creating resources to help teachers and students. Outside of work, I’m an avid surfer, animal lover, and music/art/film lover.
